Admissions FAQ
What ages do you accept?
We welcome children from 3 months old in our crèche, through preschool (2–5 years), up to 11 years in our primary school.
Can my child join mid-term?
Yes — subject to available space. Crèche admissions are open year-round; preschool and primary admissions depend on class capacity. Contact us to check.
What documents do I need?
Birth certificate, immunisation record, two passport photographs, and (for primary transfers) the most recent report card from the previous school.
What are the school hours?
School runs Monday to Friday. Core hours are 8:00am – 3:00pm, with early drop-off from 7:00am and after-school care until 5:30pm for working parents.
How much are the fees?
Fees vary by programme and options (meals, after-care, school run). Request our current fee schedule via the form above or WhatsApp — we'll send it immediately.
Which areas do you serve?
We're at 2nd Avenue, 208 Road, B Close (Left), House 4, Festac Town — convenient for families in Festac, Amuwo Odofin, Satellite Town, Mile 2, Apple Junction and Ago Palace Way.
What is the right age to start crèche or nursery school?
There's no single right answer — it depends on your family's needs. Many Lagos crèches, including ours, accept babies from 3 months for parents who need full-day care, while some paediatricians suggest 18 months to 2 years is when toddlers are typically ready for structured group play. We assess every child individually rather than by age alone — come talk to us if you're unsure.
Do you follow the British or Nigerian curriculum?
Both — you don't have to choose. We blend the Nigerian national curriculum with the British EYFS framework, so your child builds a strong local foundation while still gaining internationally benchmarked early learning skills. See how this plays out at each stage on our

What should I look for when choosing a nursery school?
Teacher-to-child ratio, safety and safeguarding practices, curriculum, and daily communication with parents are the things most experts recommend checking first. Ours is 1 teacher to every 8 children, with a dedicated safeguarding policy — ask us about all of it on your tour.
My child gets anxious in new places — how do you handle separation anxiety?
It's completely normal, and every child settles at their own pace. Our familiarisation visit — part of the enrolment process — lets your child meet their teacher and classroom before their first real day, and our staff are trained to keep goodbyes short, warm and reassuring.
What's the difference between a crèche and a nursery school?
A crèche (sometimes called daycare or playgroup) focuses on care and early stimulation for babies and toddlers, usually before age 2. Nursery school introduces more structured early learning. We run both under one roof, so your child moves seamlessly from one stage to the next without changing schools.
At what age should my child start reading?
Every child develops at their own pace, but with consistent phonics teaching, many children can begin reading simple sentences by age four. We use Jolly Phonics from early on to build that foundation.
Is my child ready to start Primary 1?
Nigeria's National Commission for Colleges of Education recommends 5 or 6 years as the standard age for Primary 1. But age alone isn't the full picture — emotional and social readiness matter just as much as academic ability. Every child we admit goes through a gentle, age-appropriate assessment so we place them correctly, not just by their date of birth.
